Readers from the United States, Ukraine and Ireland will not understand anything when reading the title. However, half Marcos Paz is devastated. I explain Karina Ponce was born to heaven. She is an excellent human being, family, friend and teacher. Now She is on another plane and we miss her very much. What can I tell you? Angels belong to heaven.

I present my deepest condolences to her family and a big hug. In this painful moment I take the liberty of dedicating the prayer-reflection of Javier Albisu called Learning from you to his memory because we all learned of his Sweetness, his Mercy and his Love to the Neighbor. Learning from you

Lord, I want to offer my chest to the one who shakes the pain inside, and tears it apart.

I want to have my arms where the cries in which their hope drowns.

I want to learn from the one who comes or suffers that, as much as he does, nothing matters.

I want to let go of what is slipping between me, and retain only what love reaches.

I want to stay still and avoid letting anyone know that they even reach me, or looking for them, go. 

I want to always remember that where I could not is where you could, you know and love us.

Los lectores de Estados Unidos, Ucrania e Irlanda no entenderán nada al leer el titulo. Sin embargo, medio Marcos Paz está devastado. Les explico Karina Ponce ha nacido al cielo. Ella es un excelente ser Humano, familia, amiga y docente. Ahora está en otro plano y la extrañamos muchísimo.  ¿Qué les puedo decir? Los Ángeles le pertenecen al cielo.

Presento mis más sentidas condolencias a su familia y un gran abrazo. En este doloroso momento  me tomo la libertad de dedicar la oración-reflexión de Javier Albisu llamada Aprendiendo de ti a su memoria porque todos aprendimos de su Dulzura, su Misericordia y su Amor al Prójimo. Señor, quiero ofrecer mi pecho al que sacude el dolor que lleva dentro, y despedaza.

Quiero tener mis brazos donde arrulle el llanto en que se ahoga su esperanza.

Quiero aprender ante el que viene o sufre que, tánto como él, no importa nada.

Quiero soltar lo que entre mi se escurre, y retener tan sólo lo que el amor alcanza.

Quiero quedarme quieto y evitar que escude el que hasta mí se lleguen, o buscando, vayan. Quiero acordarme siempre que donde yo no pude es donde tú pudiste, nos conoces y amas.

Reading Archeology: We Survive - Sara Gochberg de Silberstein

In her book We Survive, Sara Gocheberg of Silberstein tells the story of her family.

Sara survived the extermination of the Jewish people. Her husband Sasha (Zil) was an anti-Nazi guerrilla in the woods.

Sara denounces the terrible crimes of the Nazis and the courage of the people who faced them. A book that helps us understand that time is relative and that there is no forgiveness for murderers.

Survived was published by Dunken Publishing. The copy I read belongs to the third edition held in Buenos Aires in 2010. It includes photographs, letters, maps and a very important glossary.

I recommend reading the 272 pages of Survived with the children and nephews. It is the best way to cultivate Mercy in our descendants. . .

Arqueología Lectora: Sobrevivimos de Sara Gochberg de Silberstein

En su libro Sobrevivimos, Sara Gocheberg de Silberstein cuenta la historia de su familia.

Sara sobrevivió al exterminio del pueblo judío. Su esposo Sasha (Zil) fue un guerrillero antinazi en los bosques.

Sara denuncia los terribles crímenes de los nazis y la valentía de las personas que los enfrentaron. Un libro que nos ayuda a comprender que el tiempo es relativo y que no hay perdón para los asesinos.

Sobrevivimos fue publicado por la Editorial Dunken. El ejemplar que yo leí pertenece a la tercera edición realizada en Buenos Aires en 2010. Incluye fotografías, cartas, mapas y un glosario muy importante.

Recomiendo leer las 272 páginas de Sobrevivimos junto a los hijos y sobrinos. Es la mejor manera de cultivar la Misericordia en nuestros descendientes .  .  .

Arqueología lectora: La leyenda de Kinglassie y Susan King

Kinglassie tenía un tesoro y una dama escocesa sabia su ubicación. . . Sir Gavin Faulkener encuentra a la dama en una jaula de hierro.

Lady Christian MacGillean ha jurado lealtad al rey rival y la mujer no sabe rendirse ni traicionar sus ideas.

Faulkener se estremece al ver su entereza cuando ella , casi muerta, por orden del rey Eduardo confunde a Faulkener con San Miguel…alucinante!!!

El misticismo, el romance y la historia se conjugan en esta novela. Si te gusta la Edad Media en estas vacaciones disfruta el libro escrito en 1995 por Susan King con el titulo en inglés The Angel Knight.

Kinglassie had a treasure and a Scottish lady knew her location. . . 

Sir Gavin Faulkener finds the lady in an iron cage.

Lady Christian MacGillean has sworn to read the rival king and the woman does not know how to give up or betray her ideas.

Faulkener shudders to see his fortitude when she, almost dead, by order of King Edward confuses Faulkener with San Michael ... amazing!

Mysticism, romance and history are combined in this novel. 

If you like the Middle Ages on these holidays enjoy the book written in 1995 by Susan King with the English title The Angel Knight.

Reading Archeology and the War Tales of Guy de Monpassant

Guy de Monpassant was a French storyteller and novelist. He was born in Normandy (1850) and was a disciple of Flaubert and Zola.

The book I read this week is War Tales and was published at the time by Diaro Page 12. There are 94 pages of very interesting stories.

Monpassant unveiled his first story “Bola de Sebo” in the Les Soirées de Médan collection published by Zola. He shared with Flaubert pessimism and disgust for what he called "the philistism of bourgeois life."

Between 1880 and 1890 Monpassant wrote six novels being the most recognizable Una Vida and Pierre and Jean. He died insane in 1893.

Arqueología lectora y los Cuentos de guerra de Guy de Monpassant

Guy de Monpassant fue un cuentista y novelista francés. Nació en Normandía (1850) y fue discípulo de Flaubert y de Zola.

El libro que leí esta semana es Cuentos de Guerra y fue publicado en su momento por el Diario Página 12. Son 94 páginas de muy interesantes cuentos.

Monpassant dio a conocer su primer relato “Bola de Sebo” en la colección Les Soirées de Médan publicado de Zola. Compartió con Flaubert el pesimismo y el asco por lo que el llamaba “ el filisteismo de la vida burguesa”.

Entre los años 1880 y 1890 Monpassant escribió seis novelas siendo las más reconocidas Una Vida y Pierre y Jean. Murió demente en 1893.
