Today is Christmas, my Friends of Athena in arms, even if you do not know it. Because in Argentina we celebrate Christmas twice a year. Something incredible and totally sensible in us and difficult to understand for those who have not seen anyone born in these lands in their lives.

I will tell you that the first Christmas is in December, it is Christmas proper. The other Christmas is today, it is Friends' Day.

Today is the time when we give thanks to God for Friends, Brothers of life, who accompany us, in the best of cases from the earliest childhood or adolescence.

Celebrating from a distance with this little post. Dearest friends and family. . . Be very Happy and Blessed. I love you.

Feliz Día de l@s Amig@s!!!

Hoy es Navidad, mis Amig@s de Atenea en Armas, aunque ustedes no lo sepan. Porque en Argentina celebramos Navidad dos veces al año. Algo increíble, totalmente sensato en nosotr@s y dificil de comprender para quienes no han visto a nadie nacido en estas tierras en su vida.

Les diré que la primera Navidad es en diciembre, es la Navidad propiamente dicha. La otra Navidad es la de hoy, es el día de l@s amig@s.

Hoy es la época en que damos gracias a Dios por l@s  amig@s, herman@s de la vida, quienes nos acompañan, en el mejor de los casos desde la más tierna infancia o la adolescencia.

Celebrando a la distancia con este pequeño post, Amig@s queridisim@s y Familia . . . Sean muy Felices y Bendecid@s. L@s amo.

Start again . . . as always

It is a great joy to reconnect with you, dear readers. This last year 2020, a year of quarantine, of protection, of daily struggles, was very arduous. Great battles we have fought.

As you know, I decided not to blog during the quarantine. I dedicate myself to my family, my students and their families. It is an honor to be able to say that we all gave the best of ourselves for others.

Our teens learned, struggled, studied through thick and thin online throughout 2020. Students, Families and Teachers are admirable.

The People of Argentina, my People, are my greatest pride. We have fought since May 25, 1810 for our Freedom. Even locked in our homes we continue creating, learning, teaching. Today we decided to start over, as we always do. We begin with the gratitude of being alive, with the loving memory of those who fell fighting the cruel disease that came to change everything, with Love that is the only thing that teaches us to value Life.

Let's start again . . . as always, as yesterday and as tomorrow.

Empezar de nuevo . . . como siempre hacemos

 Es una alegría muy grande retomar el contacto con ustedes, queridos lectores. Este último año 2020, año de cuarentena, de resguardo, de luchas cotidianas,  fue muy arduo. Grandes batallas hemos combatido. 

Como saben decidí no escribir en el blog durante la cuarentena. Me dedique a mi familia, a mis estudiantes y a sus familias. Es un honor poder decir que Todos dimos lo Mejor de Nosotros para los Demás. 

Nuestros adolescentes aprendieron, lucharon, estudiaron contra viento y marea de modo on line durante todo 2020. Estudiantes, Familias y Docentes son admirables.

La Gente de Argentina, mi Pueblo, es mi mayor orgullo.Nosotros combatimos desde 25 de mayo de 1810 por nuestra Libertad. Incluso encerrados en nuestras casa continuamos creando, aprendiendo, enseñando.  Hoy decidimos empezar de nuevo, como siempre hacemos. Comenzamos con la gratitud de estar vivos, con el amoroso recuerdo en quienes cayeron luchando con la cruel enfermedad que vino a cambiarlo todo, con el Amor que es lo único que nos enseña a valorar la Vida.

Vamos a empezar de nuevo . . . como siempre, como ayer y como mañana.
